The Bible Project does a great job of giving a summary of what happened on Pentecost and why it’s important. It’s one of my favourite Bible stories, in the vein of “people having a weird but ultimately glorious day”!

I was also involved in Children’s Time for this worship. While I didn’t end up leading it for personal reasons, I wanted to build on the idea of Pentecost being when the church was created. To this end, I have a picture book recommendation as well: This is the Church, by Sarah Raymond Cunningham and illustrated by Ariel Landy (available to borrow from Common Word).
