This is the week that we mark the end of the Faith Formation year for the children and youth at our church, and honour that with faith markers. It’s also the second week of Pride Month, so I decided to do a combination of affirming and celebratory materials in line with both occasions and the beginning of the summer season.

Because I thought they would be a fun treat for Pride, I picked up a pack of these rainbow scratch notes ages ago, and I decided to put them out for this week. I originally ordered them from this listing during a sale, but they can be found affordably on many different online shopping platforms. They didn’t come with a lot of the styluses required to actually make the artwork, so my partner and I improvised by cutting up some single-use bamboo chopsticks from our takeout orders.
