We have a big Christmas Eve service every year, and this year we’re doing a lessons-and-carols format. Because we get so many people, I wanted to have a well-stocked table… but the reality is, it’s a more engaging service than usual as well. I ended up having so many leftover copies from the Advent services, that I just went with one addition…

…for something a little special, I picked up some sticker sheets from our local Mennonite bookstore, and cut them up so that folks could grab a couple from a basket. I got two styles; some seasonal birds, and some that were star-themed.
Otherwise, I loaded the table up with all the extra copies I had made over Advent that hadn’t been used, and a sign encouraging the folks who don’t usually attend our services to take what they might use.
