This season, my congregation is doing a sermon series built around the Shine Bible Outlines for the next season. The theme is On the Way with Jesus: Stories from Luke. I’m interested to see where our worship team takes this, since it’s typically a Sunday School curriculum. This week is on Luke 10:25-37, called Who is my neighbour?
After our service this week, a local social enterprise that our church supports is doing a presentation during our fellowship time. For this reason, I’ve decided to theme the table around the idea of neighbours and community – with a guest appearance from soup, one of the main products sold by the business that’s presenting.
